SESSION 1: FINDING YOUR VOICE

Zachary Rosa is a Region IV NCFCA Alumnus who competed in 2 debate styles, 10 speech events, placing 1st at the 2012 National Champion in Illustrated Oratory. He currently runs CaliberU, a system for personality-specific practical growth.

SESSION 2: STRUCTURING YOUR SPEECH

Andrew Pudewa is a Region IV NCFCA Parent of 7 children. He is the founder of the Institute for Excellence in Writing, and he travels around the world sharing his insight on teaching, writing, thinking, spelling, and music.

SESSION 3: ENGAGING YOUR AUDIENCE

Paige Senseman is a Region VI NCFCA Alumnus who competed in 11 speech events placing 3rd in Biographical Narrative at the 2018 National Championship. Paige will be double majoring in Worship and Strategic Communication at Cedarville.

John Tofte is a Region VI NCFCA Alumnus who competed in 3 debate styles and 10 speech events, placing 1st in TP at the 2018 National Championship. He currently offers private online coaching while pursuing a double major in Business & Communications.

Chap Bettis is a Region X NCFCA Parent of 4 children. He is the author of the Disciple-Making Parent: Raising your Children to Love and Follow Jesus Christ and the Fearless Apologetics Curriculum.

SESSION 6: PREPARING FOR EXTEMP

Melanie Corley is a Region XI NCFCA Parent of 5 children who have competed in Region XI. Melanie has coached valued debate, policy debate, and moot court over the past 12 seasons and currently serves on the NCFCA Debate Committee.

Natalia Rosa is a Region IV NCFCA Alumnus who competed in value debate and 10 speech events. She is the editor of The NCFCA Comprehensive Guide to Speech and currently serves as the NCFCA Director of Marketing.

SESSION 8: CLARIFYING YOUR PLOTLINE

Cody Dedon is a Region VII NCFCA Alumnus who competed in Value Debate and 7 speech events, placing 1st in Speech Sweepstakes at the 2012 National Championship. Cody is the founder of Flashbang Productions, LLC, offering film and photo production.

SESSION 9: PARENTING A SPEECH STUDENT

Heather Neumann is a Region VI NCFCA Parent of 6 children and has coached thousands of students across the country. She is also the Founder of Lasting Impact! - an online resource for students, parents, coaches, and clubs.

CHRISTY SHIPE | DEBATE SPEAKER

Christy Shipe is the founder of NCFCA and a Region IX NCFCA parent of 5 children. Christy authored The NCFCA Comprehensive Guide to Team Policy Debate and Lincoln-Douglas Value Debate and currently serves as the NCFCA Board Chair.

GHENA BURSON | DEBATE SPEAKER

Ghena Burson is a Region VII NCFCA parent of twelve children. She has her undergraduate in English and Speech education from Cedarville University and a Masters in education from the University of Wyoming.

MARC DAVIS | DEBATE SPEAKER

Marc Davis is a Region II NCFCA Alumnus who competed in TP and placed 4th in Extemp at the 2008 National Championship. He currently serves on the NCFCA Debate Committee, teaches speech and debate, and hosts The Thoughtful Gamer website and podcast.

James Russell is a Region VII NCFCA Alumnus who competed in Policy Debate, placing in the top 2 Team Policy Speakers at every tournament he attended in 2014. He serves on the NCFCA Debate Committee and as the Director of DFW Speech & Debate.

Brenda Storz is a Region X NCFCA parent of 3 children. She serves as a Team Policy Debate Coach and runs summer debate camps. This Fall, she will be starting a new club in Region X.
