NCFCA Prayer List

Each year on the second Tuesday of September, NCFCA sets aside 24 hours to dedicate to prayer for the league, our leadership, our families, and those we will encounter in the coming year. This year, the day is an especially poignant day to pray. September 11 will live in infamy in the minds and hearts of those of us who watched in horror and disbelief as the Twin Towers fell, the Pentagon burned, and a plane lay smoldering in the Pennsylvania countryside. Perhaps the one bright spot from that fateful day was the call to prayer. Churches and gathering places all over the country filled with those who would petition the Lord for protection, mercy, healing, strength, and guidance. We asked for peace and wisdom.

Tomorrow, as we remember the lives lost that day, we also invite you to join NCFCA leaders, parents, coaches, students, alumni, partners, and friends to seek the Lord’s wisdom. James 1:5 admonishes us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” It is our corporate organizational prayer that we are wise; that we will seek heavenly wisdom in regards to our conduct, our relationships, our decision-making, and our direction for the upcoming season.

Below, you will find a prayer list we would like to share with you as you pray with us tomorrow and throughout the season. The list is linked to specific information and names on our website where appropriate in case you’d like to have quick access. If you’re on social media on Tuesday, join us on Facebook to see additional specific requests. Also, we would be honored to pray with you about concerns on your own heart. Please feel free to drop us an email at PrayerRequest@NCFCA.org and share as much or as little as you’d like. The requests will not be shared beyond our National team.

Thank you for your support of NCFCA Day of Prayer! We are honored to serve alongside you as we seek to train the next generation “to address life issues from a biblical worldview in a manner that glorifies God.”

In His Service,

Executive Director
