NCFCA is pleased to announce the results of our first ever Short Film Contest! As professional-quality tools for creating and editing films become increasingly accessible, we are excited to bring the medium of film into NCFCA competition and are thrilled to give students the opportunity to communicate through film while addressing life issues from a biblical worldview in a manner that glorifies God. The results of our first contest have been astounding.
The submissions we received were varied and numerous, and our judges laughed heartily and shed more than a few tears while watching the wonderful films that NCFCA students created. Films were evaluated based on a combination of creativity, originality, depth of message, incorporation of the theme, writing, editing, entertainment quality, and overall presentation, and we’ve made the very difficult decision of ranking the top entries. We’re pleased now to present the first, second, and third place winners, as well as two honorable mentions that were just too good not to share. We’re so thankful for all the students who spent so much time and effort making the films that were submitted, and we hope you enjoy these five as much as we did.
The NCFCA Board of Directors is pleased to recognize the following winners for the 2013-2014 NCFCA Short Film Contest:
