Letter of Resignation

Dear NCFCA Friends and Family,

After serving for seven years as president of NCFCA, I have recently submitted my resignation as president to the board of directors. It has always been my prayer that I would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading regarding how long I was to serve in this position. While the decision to step down from leading the day-to-day operations of the league has not been an easy one, I am grateful that God has provided clarity and assurance that this is the right move at the right time, both for me and for NCFCA.

It has been one of the highlights of my life to have had the privilege of serving in the role of president. The opportunity to work with such wonderful people towards our common goal to train young adults to be able to think critically and articulate truth graciously has challenged and blessed me in indescribable ways. I want to thank each one of you who I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside during my service as president, for your part in both the challenges and the blessings of this journey!

Please pray for both NCFCA leadership and for me as we go through the upcoming weeks and months. Even though I will still be connected to NCFCA as a board member and an active parent, I know my days will look very different, and I am excited to explore the next callings God has for me. The leadership of NCFCA will be busy kicking off the new season, and I am sure they would appreciate your prayers for wisdom and efficiency, as well.

I am extremely proud of all the milestones we have accomplished together over the past few years, and I want to express my deepest gratitude to all who have been so supportive of both NCFCA and me personally: staff, leadership, board members, and our Affiliate families, as well as my own friends and family. Without you, NCFCA would not be what it is today. I have been honored to have experienced the blessing of leading this incredible organization, and will watch with much anticipation as we move together towards the future and what God has in store for us!

With much love,

Teresa Hudson

You made some terrific changes during your tenure, Teresa! NCFCA has reached new levels of excellence under your leadership and I thank you for your commitment and sacrifice. It’s a marvelous thing to advance an organization that touches so many lives to the place where NCFCA is today. You can be so proud of that.
