Ron Grant has been actively involved in the NCFCA since 1999.  From the onset, Ron has been committed to providing speech and debate opportunities for other home school families, largely as a result of the benefits realized by his own children.

As founding President of his local non-profit speech and debate organization in 2000, Ron has served in various capacities – such as, instructing parent classes, facilitating workshops, hosting conferences, and directing state and regional qualifying tournaments.  In 2002 Ron was appointed Pennsylvania’s State Representative and soon thereafter was elected to the position of Regional Director/Coordinator, where he served for five years.  That same year he also joined the NCFCA Board of Directors, where he currently serves as Vice President.

Ron and his wife reside in Elverson, Pennsylvania and have home schooled their four children since 1988.  He is the Sales Manager for Innovative Printing Systems, a print equipment and service provider.  At leisure, Ron has enjoyed playing in a local softball league, as well as helping to coach the local American Legion baseball teams.
